Honkai: Star Rail comparisons work best when they identify the encounter shape and resource rules first. Turn order, enemy count, elemental coverage, Light Cones, Eidolons, and teammate requirements can all affect a result, so use this page to explain the conditions behind a personal team-building list.

Star Rail scenario boards: do not evaluate every mode the same way
Memory of Chaos, Pure Fiction, and Apocalyptic Shadow are recurring combat content with different encounter structures. Save a board per mode to see when a characterโs priority changes.
Memory of Chaos: two-side weakness planning
For each refresh, confirm weaknesses, wave structure, and featured rules before locking the two sides.
Board prompt: Do both sides function independently for the current weaknesses and waves?
Memory of Chaos example: separate debuffs and sustain
Based on teammate synergies in Prydwen's Acheron guide checked 2026-10-05, this example assumes multiple enemies on one Memory of Chaos side and ownership of Acheron, Jiaoqiu, Pela, and Aventurine. It is not a current-season optimal-team claim.
Acheron: the damage slot that benefits from accumulating debuffs. Check the actual weaknesses and your investment.
Jiaoqiu: applies debuffs during enemy actions to support Acheron's Ultimate buildup.
Pela: illustrates area DEF reduction from her Ultimate. The source describes the buffed Silver Wolf as a stronger alternative.
Aventurine: the sustain slot with shields and an innate Ultimate debuff. Extra equipment-dependent debuffs are not assumed.
Excluded alternative โ Silver Wolf: the source describes Lightning Weakness implant and AoE DEF reduction from her Ultimate. This board illustrates Pela's role, not superiority over Silver Wolf.
Board row order is not in-game turn order. Recheck speed, weaknesses, survival, and what the other side of the challenge needs.
